EffingHAM-JAM, produced by the Effingham County Chamber, is an annual BBQ competition in downtown Effingham, IL and is a evening full of events, live music, food and fun. Visitors will be able to move around the event area with alcoholic beverages purchased at the Koerner Distributor, Inc. tent.

Proceeds from EffingHAM-JAM will go towards the Effingham County Chamber Community Scholarship Program.

Scholarship Program

The Effingham County Chamber Community Scholarship Program provides $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors and adult learners pursuing post-secondary education. Since the program’s inception in 1996, it has awarded $264,000 to 226 recipients, helping students across Effingham County take the next step in their education.

The scholarship program is for Chamber members, their employees & family, or any resident of Effingham County. Preference will be given to those attending Illinois colleges.
